Go Caretaker Program
Do you love animals? Are you looking for an immersive wildlife care program but do not have formal animal care experience? Do you want to learn how conservation organizations are working to protect and preserve Africa's wildlife and help to do your part? Then the Go Caretaker Program is for you.
As a Go Caretaker volunteer, you will step into the role of increased responsibility caring for our sanctuary's animals. After an intensive training period, you will be the first line of care for those of our animal residents who may be injured or ill, ensuring that they receive the attention and resources they require to heal. You will be working with qualified professionals, learning new skills and gaining experience in animal health. You will also serve as a liaison, regularly checking on and recording details about the health and welfare of all the sanctuary's residents, offering lasting contributions to the work of the sanctuary by keeping regular health records. If you are looking for a truly immersive wildlife care experience in Africa, then the Go Caretaker Program is for you!
