Go Medical - Harnas Wildlife Foundation

Go Medical Program

The Go Medical program provides qualified individuals the opportunity to apply their skills in a unique environment whilst contributing to wildlife conservation efforts in Africa. As a Go Medical volunteer, you will spend a portion of your time working at the on-site 'Nick and Nico Van der Merwe Memorial Clinic" seeing a diverse group of patients, organizing and structuring the clinic and spearheading a health-related project of your own devise. This is an opportunity to leave a long lasting impact on the Harnas human community. You will also have the opportunity to engage in the sanctuary's ongoing wildlife conservation and rescue efforts, including assisting in radio tracking of cheetahs released in our Lifeline area, bush walks with our orphaned baboons and so much more.

If you are looking to contribute your skills as a health professional, develop unique skills and come home with a new perspective while engaging with African wildlife in a truly well rounded experience, then the Go Medical program is for you.
