Go Veterinary - Harnas Wildlife Foundation

Go Vet Program

If you are a qualified veterinary health professional or are currently a student in a veterinary health profession and are looking to step outside your everyday routine while contributing to the health of Africa's wildlife, then the Go Vet program is for you.

You will be able to engage with a diverse range of animal species, from warthogs to meerkats, cheetahs and impala while being immersed in the life of a working animal sanctuary in the heart of the Kalahari. You will find yourself putting hard-won skills to work in a unique environment whilst enjoying a true working holiday experience.

Your day-to-day duties can very greatly, from treating a cheetah's tooth access to engaging in the sanctuary's core activities, including bush walks with our orphaned baboons. You will be a valued member of the care and conservation team and your skills and expertise will be much needed as we pursue our work to protect the area's wildlife.
