Volunteers - Harnas Wildlife Foundation

Harnas Wildlife Foundation Volunteer Program has recently instituted multiple “tracks” or specific volunteer programs through which volunteers may engage with our foundation. These tracks are categorized as “Go” programs and include:

Go Wildlife

Go Medical

Go Veterinarian

Go Research

Go Caretaker

Go Exclusive

Each program has specific goals and requirements.

General Goals:

To provide an immersive care taking experience to the volunteer that fills a need in the animal community on Harnas Wildlife Sanctuary.

To provide a deeper animal educational opportunity to the volunteer by providing one to one information on animal behaviour, communication, welfare and health.

To teach volunteers to undertake delicate and important animal welfare tasks.

To provide opportunities to volunteers who may have little or no wildlife experience but have a strong desire to learn.

Thank you for joining our Team!
